Il miglior film dell’anno secondo i Critics Choice Awards 2014 è 12 anni schiavo, la pellicola diretta da Steve McQueen che ieri ha fatto incetta di nomination agli Oscar, ben 9. La miglior regia va invece a Alfonso Cuarón per Gravity, replicando il successo del regista e sceneggiatore messicano ai Golden Globe. Le possibilità che Gravity vinca agli Oscar la statuetta per la miglior regia si fanno sempre più alte, visti i generali consensi ottenuti. Cate Blanchett e Matthew McConaughey sono i migliori attori dell’anno, mentre American Hustle vince il premio per il miglior cast, miglior commedia e miglior trucco e parrucco. Sono felice che il premio al miglior film straniero sia andato a La vita di Adele (che ho nettamente preferito a La Grande bellezza, a mio parere sopravvalutato) e che il film abbia portato a casa anche un premio per la sua straordinaria, giovane protagonista, Adele Exarchopoulos.
